While in Brisbane I didn’t take too many photos of the city. To be honest I think it’s a case of you forgetting what’s in your own backyard, or even that you’ll always have the opportunity to take a photo, so there’s no immediate rush. Looking back, it certainly does remind me how beautiful our home town is.
Growing up I’d always visit Sandgate beach back in Brisbane. In Brisbane this beach isn’t viewed as being one of particular beauty, as the sands are not particularly sand, but rather mud. Though what makes this spot great is that there are lots of iconic areas to photograph, like an old fashioned pier.
