On part two of our short trip to Shanghai we visited the Bund. The Bund is Shanghai’s most famous skyline and is home to many building with observation points.
On the 1st of March I realized that we had reached our one year anniversary of travel blogging. I have to say that I’m a little surprised that we made it to the one year mark, outside of each other we both have a hard time committing to things.
Over Spring Festival we travelled to Shanghai for a short trip. Prior to this we were really nervous about travelling in China as we didn’t speak the language and travel in China is complicated in a way I can’t quite explain.
I can’t believe we’ve already been in China for three months now, the time has flown by so fast. In fact, so much time has gone by that we’re no longer the newest teachers at our school. A new guy showed up last week with two or three more teachers set to arrive over the next month or so.
Panajachel is a picturesque little town in Guatemala which is one of the more popular hubs around the beautiful Lake Atitlan. The quiet and quaint lakeside town is the perfect place to hit the lake and kayak around solo or with your significant other, so one day while visiting the town we decided to do just that.
